Brian D. Buehler Joins Private Equity Firm Triton Pacific as a Partner

Triton Pacific Capital Partners, a sponsor of private equity alternative investment programs, announced that Brian D. Buehler has been named partner and will serve as president of Triton Pacific Securities, the firm’s captive broker-dealer.

“We are excited to welcome Brian as a partner in our private equity firm and president of our broker-dealer at a time of growth and opportunity for Triton Pacific affiliated entities,” said Craig Faggen, chairman and chief executive officer of Triton Pacific. “Brian’s experience, expertise and industry knowledge will play a significant role in our firm’s success and ultimately in the success of our investors as well.”

In his new role, Buehler will lead the firm’s capital markets group to develop and deliver a platform of innovative products and value-added services to the market. Buehler’s responsibilities will include overseeing the firm’s capital strategy as well as managing the operations of the broker-dealer.

Buehler has 20 years of experience in raising capital and investing in various financial services and commercial real estate sectors. He was instrumental in raising capital for seven public and private investment offerings representing more than $1 billion of capital raised, including Strategic Storage REITs I & II, SmartStop Self Storage, Strategic Storage Trust II, Strategic Storage Growth Trust, and Whitestone REIT. Additionally, Buehler has led numerous private investment offerings structured as LLCs, LPs, debentures, private equity investments and other programs.

Buehler has also built and managed distribution teams during the past 15 years, and has been called upon to reorganize management and sales teams. He has built distribution within the independent broker-dealer, registered investment advisor, and family office channels. Prior to joining Triton, Buehler served as president of United Realty Trust from November 2014 through June 2015.

“I look forward to the opportunity to expand Triton Pacific’s footprint with financial advisers at what is a very opportune time for investors. Generally speaking, publicly traded growth stocks and mutual funds are at all-time highs, and the same appears to be true in the real estate market,” Buehler said. “Triton Pacific’s private equity fund is positioned as an alternative to these markets.”

Buehler holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses, and CA Insurance Life, Health, Property and Casualty licenses. He is a graduate of Chapman University.
