Argonaut Acquisitions LLC, a full-service real estate private equity fund focused on investing in multifamily real estate, has added Jerry Boyette as chief investment officer and William Skinner as chief financial officer.

In his new role, Boyette will lead Argonaut’s capital raising efforts and will be responsible for legal and SEC compliance, as well as all investor relations functions.
Boyette, an accredited asset management specialist, has more than 30 years of experience in the financial and real estate industry, and throughout his career, has raised more than $1 billion through the registered investment advisor and independent broker-dealer channels, as well as through family offices, foundations, and banks, the company said.
Most recently, Boyette served as president of BFS Financial, and has held capital raising roles with SC Distributors, Carter Validus, Greenbacker Renewable Energy Funds, Hartman, NetREIT, Aegon and Transamerica.
Skinner, a certified public accountant, has more than 10 years of experience in the financial and real estate industries. In his new role, he will lead the company’s accounting division, and will oversee internal financial controls and reporting. Additionally, he will be participating in the due diligence, structuring, and reporting associated with the company’s investment products.
In his past role as financial operations principal and controller for Crestone Capital, a multi-family office with an affiliated registered investment advisor and broker-dealer, Skinner managed 50+ investment vehicles across all asset classes and assumed CFO responsibilities during multiple executive searches. He previously held lead accountant roles for Bison Accounting, Fortera Realty, and Stone Pine Accounting Services.
