Archon Private Equity Partners Hires Former Deutsche Bank Alts Executive as Managing Partner
Archon Private Equity Partners, a private alternative asset manager and investment firm, has hired 20-year industry veteran Rob Nicholson as managing partner.
Archon Private Equity Partners, a private alternative asset manager and investment firm, has hired 20-year industry veteran Rob Nicholson as managing partner.
In his new position Rob will focus on the general management of the firm’s operations, mergers and acquisitions across the firm’s investment platform, financial advisory, capital development, and strategic growth.
Prior to joining Archon, Nicholson serves as the vice president of alternative investments at Deutsche Bank. Throughout his career, he has held a number of senior positions at alternative investment sponsors, including senior vice president at CION Investments, senior vice president and division head of capital markets at Cole Capital, and director of capital markets at Hines.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Nicholson has been involved in more than $20 billion of debt and equity financing, and directly closed $3 billion of capital for real estate and private equity transactions. He has experience with both public and private non-traded real estate investment trusts, business development companies, and interval funds.
