Ameriprise Financial (NYSE: AMP) has recruited two teams with $286 million in combined assets under management. Father-son duo, Robert Bonwell Sr., and Robert Bonwell Jr., joined from Wells Fargo in Charleston, West Virginia, and separately, Jim Buzgo, joined from UBS in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Bonwells manage $149 million in client assets and are joined by Kellie Keeling, a registered client service associate who has served their clients for 34 years.
Jim Buzgo, who manages $137 million in client assets, is supported by registered client service associate Drew London.
Ameriprise Financial has approximately 10,000 financial advisors and provides advisory, asset management and insurance capabilities to individual and institutional investors.
