Ameriprise Financial (NYSE: AMP), a financial services firm with approximately 10,000 financial advisors, has added two teams with $272 million in combined assets under management.

Foundation Wealth Management, led by Rick Yanez and Lance Mackall, who each have more than a decade in the industry, joined from Wells Fargo Advisors in Bakersfield, California. Separately, John McLaughlin joined from Stifel in Olean, New York.

Foundation Wealth Management, which manages $189 million in client assets, was “looking to bring on more advisors and serve more households with advice.” Their team also includes advisors Cathie Joughin and John Rodgers, who each have more than 35 years of experience, as well as office manager Monica Lopez and client service manager Crystal Gilman.

McLaughlin, an advisor with 34 years of experience who manages $83 million in assets, moved to Ameriprise because he was seeking “the right balance of independence and support to deepen his relationships with existing clients and acquire new ones.” Paraplanner Lisa Zlockie also moved to Ameriprise with McLaughlin.

Ameriprise Financial provides advisory, asset management and insurance services for individual and institutional investors.
