Advisor Group’s Royal Alliance Recruits $168 Million Wealth Management Team

Royal Alliance Associates, a broker-dealer within the Advisor Group network of independent wealth management firms, has recruited Azose Johnson & Associates.

Royal Alliance Associates, a broker-dealer within the Advisor Group network of independent wealth management firms, has recruited Azose Johnson & Associates, a Washington-based firm that oversees $168 million in total client assets. The firm joins from Waddell and Reed.

Azose Johnson & Associates includes partners Maynard Azose and Amanda Johnson, along with financial professional Nick Fuller.

The team supports clients in and around the Spokane region, providing comprehensive financial, retirement and estate planning, investment management, educational funding and social security analysis.

Azose Johnson & Associates was founded by 30-year industry veteran Jill Ruser, who partnered with Azose as part of her succession strategy before retiring in 2020. Azose now leads the firm along with Johnson, who joined in 2018 and serves as its head of operations.

Founded in 1969, Royal Alliance Associates has more than 3,600 affiliated independent financial advisors and is headquartered in Jersey City.
