ADISA Names Award Winners at 2014 Annual Conference

At its 2014 Annual Conference in Las Vegas, the Alternative and Direct Investment Securities Association (ADISA) announced the winners yesterday of its ACE award, Distinguished Service award, and President’s award. The awards were presented at the conference kick-off where nearly 1,000 industry professionals were in attendance.

Formerly known as the Real Estate Investment Securities Association (REISA), ADISA is a national trade association focused on the alternative investment and securities industry and aids those who are involved in offering, managing, and distributing private and public direct investments.

The ACE Award is the highest honor that ADISA can bestow upon a member and is given to an organization or an individual that has excelled in their career and distinguished themselves and ADISA. This year the ACE Award went to Mike Bendix, co-founder of DFPG Investments Inc.

The Distinguished Service Award honors individuals or companies that have provided service to ADISA, the industry, and the community at large. This year’s recipients include John Grady, president of National Fund Advisors LLC, and Bryan Mick, president of Mick & Associates P.C., LLO.

Griffin Capital Corporation received this year’s President’s Award, which is presented to an individual or organization that has made exceptional contributions in their field, through service, through local, state, or national affairs, or through support and advancement of ADISA.

“We are pleased to present these awards to honor John, Bryan, Mike, and the outstanding professionals at Griffin Capital Corporation,” commented ADISA Executive Director/CEO, John Harrison. He continued, “They all exhibit exceptional commitment to excellence, service to the industry and adhere to the highest ethical standards and quality performance. Congratulations to all.”
