KBS REIT II Renews 142,700 SF Lease with NETGEAR at San Jose Property

KBS Real Estate Investment Trust II, a publicly registered , non-traded real estate investment trust based in Newport Beach, California, renewed a 142,700-square-foot lease with NETGEAR Inc., at the 350 E. Plumeria Building in San Jose.

The building is situated between three freeways, the 101, 830 and 237, and is within walking distance of the VTA Orchard Light Rail Station. Its layout allows for a broad array of uses including office, high-tech manufacturing and assembly. The design of this two-story property allows it to accommodate either multiple- or single-tenant occupancies. The property site totals approximately 8.11 acres and its parking can accommodate 503 vehicles.

NETGEAR, Inc. is a global networking company that delivers products to consumers, businesses and service providers. The company’s product line consists of devices, such as network attached storage, Internet protocol security cameras and home automation devices and services.

KBS Real Estate Investment Trust II’s portfolio consists of 12 real estate properties (consisting of 10 office properties, one office/flex property and an office campus consisting of eight office buildings) and two real estate loans receivable. The REIT, which closed its offering in December 2010, raised $1.8 billion in investor equity since April 2008.
