KBS Capital Markets Group Expands Sales Team

KBS Capital Markets Group, the managing broker-dealer for KBS Capital Advisors-sponsored investment offerings, hired Paul DiMartino and Stephen Gongola as regional vice presidents. They will report to Jeff Kremin, national sales manager for KBS Capital Markets Group.

As regional vice presidents, DiMartino and Gongola will be responsible for building relationships with financial advisors in their respective territories and for the distribution of real estate investment products. DiMartino will focus on the Florida and Puerto Rico markets, while Gongola will focus on Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin.

“Paul and Stephen bring a wealth of expertise and experience that will bring tremendous value to our sales team,” said Mick Manning, chief executive officer of KBS Capital Markets Group. “They are natural fits for KBS, and we are looking forward to having them on board.”

Prior to joining KBS, DiMartino worked for Lightstone Capital Markets and ProShares. He has more than 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, including several positions at Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney. He received his master’s in business administration and bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Dayton in Ohio and currently holds FINRA Series 7, 8, 9, 31, 63 and 65 registrations.

Gongola previously served as a vice president for Innealta Capital. Prior to that, he worked for Prudential Financial and Goldman Sachs. Gongola received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 65 and 63 registrations.
