Franklin Square Capital Partners Named Mid-Market Elite

Franklin Square Capital Partners (Franklin Square) has made the list of Chief Executive’s first annual list of 100 top performing mid-sized companies known as the Mid-Market Elite.

According to Chief Executive’s website, “The economic impact of this middle-market sector is real and impressive—collectively they account for 40 percent of the U.S.’s GDP. The Philadelphia-based Franklin Square is listed on Chief Executive as “Providing access to financial tools used by big dollar investors.”

As a sponsor of alternative investment products, Franklin Square pioneered the use of BDCs. The company has a number of funds available at the moment; FS Investment Corporation II invests in private debt, FS Energy and Power Fund gives investors access to investments in private U.S. companies in the energy and power industry, and Franklin Square’s most recent fund, FS Global Credit, is a closed-end fund that invests in global credit, including loans, bonds and other credit instruments.
