Capital Raising – Top Ten Direct Investment Sponsors 2013

The Direct Investment industry enjoyed a record breaking year for capital inflows in 2013 surpassing $24 billion as compared to $13.4 billion in 2012 according to data from Robert A .Stanger & Co. Non-traded REITs contributed to 80% of this raise for a total of $19.6 billion while non-traded BDCs added $4.8 billion.

Other direct investments chipped in approximately $147 million, which includes $93 million from equipment leasing programs, $51.3 million from oil & gas related offerings, and $2.5 million from direct real estate / mortgage partnerships.
