ADISA Announces 2016 Conference Dates and New Sponsor Membership Prices

ADISA, a trade association for the alternative and direct investment space, today announced the dates for its 2016 conferences, as well as new membership pricing for sponsors of investment products.

The 2016 conferences include:

• ADISA’s Spring Symposium, to be held March 21-23 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego;

• 2016 Due Diligence Forum, to be held July 12-13 at the Renaissance Waterfront in Boston;

• 2016 Annual Conference & Trade Show, to be held Sept. 26-28 at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas.

According to the association, in 2015 roughly 1,600 industry professionals attended at least one of ADISA’s events, including approximately 600 broker-dealer executives, registered representatives or registered investment advisors. Keynote speakers included political pundit Karl Rove, former Congressman Barry Goldwater Jr., Olympic legend Mark Spitz, professor Peter Ricchiuti and author Ross Bernstein.

“We are very happy with the success of ADISA’s 2015 events, which brought together a significant number of leading professionals in alternative investments and provided unparalleled networking opportunities for attendees,” said John Harrison, executive director and chief executive officer of ADISA.

ADISA has also changed its membership pricing for sponsors of investment products to a flat annual membership rate of $5,000. The organization previously tiered its membership fee for sponsors by the size of the firm; the new pricing reflects a 50 percent discount for the largest sponsor firms.

ADISA’s membership has grown by 209 percent and conferences have grown by more than 10 percent in the past three years, according to the association. Their events bring together the nation’s leading alternative investment professionals to learn the latest industry trends, marketing recommendations and current regulations.

The Alternative and Direct Investment Securities Association bills itself as the largest national trade association serving alternative investment and securities industry professionals who are active in offering, managing and distributing private and public direct investments.
